My message to the PhD group-chat on submission day
Well done to everyone whose submission date is today. You were tempted to quit many times, but you didn't. That's an achievement in itself. Even if you still feel worried that you will not succeed, you tried something most people would be too daunted to even start. You learnt about life beyond your subject matter. Wisdom is the goal of human existence, and sometimes it takes failure to succeed at that.
